Ayant contribu\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 plusieurs projets de recherche interdisciplinaires financ\u00e9s par l\u2019Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR),&nbsp; sous la direction du Prof. Denis Hilton, elle a&nbsp;pu&nbsp;obtenir&nbsp;un&nbsp;poste d\u2019assistante dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e&nbsp;\u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne et a ainsi r\u00e9aliser une&nbsp;th\u00e8se&nbsp;sous la direction du Prof. Fabrizio Butera (Institut de psychologie). Elle a soutenu sa&nbsp;th\u00e8se&nbsp;le 19 septembre 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l\u2019id\u00e9e selon laquelle la nature moins comp\u00e9titive des femmes expliquerait les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques persistantes entre hommes et femmes semble avoir gagn\u00e9 en popularit\u00e9. Cette&nbsp;th\u00e8se&nbsp;visait \u00e0 fournir une perspective nouvelle sur le sujet en proposant une approche psycho-sociale des d\u00e9terminants de la motivation des femmes \u00e0 entrer en comp\u00e9tition. Notre approche vise \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 compl\u00e9ter les savoirs issus de l\u2019\u00e9conomie exp\u00e9rimentale et \u00e0 remettre en question l\u2019id\u00e9e selon laquelle les femmes ne seraient pas assez comp\u00e9titives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En combinant diff\u00e9rentes approches th\u00e9oriques et exp\u00e9rimentales, nous avons voulu d\u00e9terminer dans quel(s) contexte(s), pour quelles raisons et comment les comportements des femmes et des hommes peuvent se diff\u00e9rencier en situation de comp\u00e9tition.&nbsp;Notre premier chapitre pr\u00e9sente un mod\u00e8le th\u00e9orique qui int\u00e8gre \u00e0 la fois les savoirs issus des travaux d\u2019\u00e9conomie exp\u00e9rimental et ceux issus de la psychologie sociale&nbsp;afin de mieux saisir l\u2019origine et les effets des comportements comp\u00e9titifs genr\u00e9s.&nbsp;Dans le deuxi\u00e8me chapitre, nous utilisons une m\u00e9thode exp\u00e9rimentale dans le but d\u2019\u00e9valuer si les femmes sont susceptibles de subir&nbsp;des cons\u00e9quences plus n\u00e9gatives que les hommes lorsqu\u2019elles expriment ouvertement&nbsp;des buts comp\u00e9titifs sur leur lieu de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les chapitres qui suivent se focalisent sur les strat\u00e9gies comp\u00e9titives employ\u00e9s par les femmes et les hommes en situation de comp\u00e9tition, et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment en contexte d\u2019entretien s\u00e9lectif simul\u00e9. Dans le troisi\u00e8me chapitre nous mesurons les&nbsp;effets du genre de l\u2019interviewer sur les strat\u00e9gies d\u2019auto-promotion de femmes et d\u2019hommes.
