{"id":9365,"date":"2025-01-27T08:36:04","date_gmt":"2025-01-27T07:36:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/esspace\/?p=9365"},"modified":"2025-01-27T08:36:05","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T07:36:05","slug":"fei-bian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/esspace\/2025\/01\/fei-bian\/","title":{"rendered":"Fei Bian"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Paid Working Time: The Role of Linked Lives and Life Events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Fei Bian, titulaire d\u2019une Licence en Sociologie et d\u2019un&nbsp;Master en D\u00e9mographie et Donn\u00e9es Sociales de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Picardie Jules Verne, a soutenu sa&nbsp;th\u00e8se&nbsp;de doctorat le 8 novembre 2024 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne, sous la direction de la Prof. Leen Vandecasteele (Institut des sciences sociales).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 travers une perspective du parcours de vie, cette&nbsp;th\u00e8se&nbsp;se penche sur le temps de travail r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9 des femmes, en explorant le r\u00f4le des vies li\u00e9es et des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de vie dans ses variations. En analysant les donn\u00e9es d\u2019enqu\u00eates longitudinales, nous examinons comment les heures de travail des femmes sont influenc\u00e9es par le statut professionnel de leur conjoint, et comment elles ajustent leur temps de travail en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs tels que la parentalit\u00e9 et la dissolution du partenariat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9v\u00e8lent trois points essentiels: Premi\u00e8rement, en Europe, les m\u00e8res travaillent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement moins d\u2019heures ou tendent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire leur temps de travail lorsque leur conjoint occupe un poste de haut niveau, cette relation n\u00e9gative est toutefois moins marqu\u00e9e dans les pays disposant de politiques familles optimis\u00e9es et de normes de genre \u00e9galitaires; Deuxi\u00e8mement, nous observons une diminution du nombre relatif d\u2019heures de travail des femmes europ\u00e9ennes apr\u00e8s la naissance de leur premier enfant, notamment dans les couples o\u00f9 l\u2019homme est le principal soutien de famille, mais les contextes politiques et culturels peuvent mod\u00e9rer cet effet de la parentalit\u00e9; Troisi\u00e8mement, au Royaume-Uni, les femmes qui subissent une s\u00e9paration montrent des changements plus prononc\u00e9s dans leur offre de travail par rapport \u00e0 celles qui restent en couple, avec l\u2019impact variant selon la pr\u00e9sence de jeunes enfants dans le m\u00e9nage.
