M\u00e9ta-analyse et efficacit\u00e9 des psychoth\u00e9rapies: faits et fiction. <i>Psychologie Fran\u00e7aise. <\/i>doi: 10.1016\/j.psfr.2012.12.002.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dans un contexte \u00e9conomique toujours plus tendu, la question de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des traitements psychologiques fait partie des pr\u00e9occupations importantes en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale. Pour pouvoir faire le point \u00e0 ce sujet, il s\u2019av\u00e8re n\u00e9cessaire de synth\u00e9tiser la somme des connaissances accumul\u00e9es. La m\u00e9ta-analyse joue ici un r\u00f4le central car cette m\u00e9thode permet d\u2019aboutir \u00e0 une synth\u00e8se quantifi\u00e9e et reproductible des donn\u00e9es empiriques disponibles dans la litt\u00e9rature. Les deux contributions \u00e9voqu\u00e9es ici, fruits de la collaboration entre Gr\u00e9goire Zimmermann, Yves de Roten et Valentino Pomini du LabDCI (Laboratoire de psychologie du d\u00e9veloppement, du conseil et de l\u2019intervention) abordent par une r\u00e9flexion critique et un exemple concret d\u2019\u00e9tude m\u00e9ta-analytique les int\u00e9r\u00eats et limites de cette m\u00e9thode.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re contribution aborde l\u2019utilisation de cette m\u00e9thode dans l\u2019\u00e9valuation de l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des psychoth\u00e9rapies. La m\u00e9ta-analyse permet de r\u00e9sumer par des indices statistiques les r\u00e9sultats des essais cliniques contr\u00f4l\u00e9s dans lesquels l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des traitements psychologiques a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9e. Cette m\u00e9thodologie a ainsi permis de mettre en \u00e9vidence l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 comparable des principales approches psychoth\u00e9rapeutiques, mais elle a aussi suscit\u00e9 des d\u00e9bats o\u00f9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9s les principaux biais dont la recherche dans ce domaine peut \u00eatre victime (qualit\u00e9 des protocoles, qualit\u00e9 des mesures, all\u00e9geance des chercheurs\/euses, etc.). C&rsquo;est pourquoi d&rsquo;autres formes de recherche que les \u00e9tudes cliniques contr\u00f4l\u00e9es m\u00e9ritent aussi de l&rsquo;attention, notamment les \u00e9tudes de cas ou celles se penchant sur les processus de changement.<\/p>\n<p>La seconde contribution porte sur une application concr\u00e8te de cette m\u00e9thode\u00a0: elle se focalise\u00a0 sur l\u2019\u00e9tude de la formation \u00e0 l\u2019entretien motivationnel (EM), un style d\u2019entretien th\u00e9rapeutique centr\u00e9 sur le client qui vise \u00e0 augmenter la motivation au changement. La question de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la formation pour conduire ce type d\u2019intervention aupr\u00e8s de diverses populations cliniques n\u2019a jamais fait l\u2019objet d\u2019une attention tr\u00e8s pouss\u00e9e. Notre m\u00e9ta-analyse fournit des informations int\u00e9ressantes sur les effets de diff\u00e9rentes modalit\u00e9s de formation \u00e0 l\u2019EM, et nous permet d\u2019initier une r\u00e9flexion sur le r\u00f4le de la formation dans le transfert de connaissances acquises dans un contexte de recherche clinique. D\u00e8s lors, parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des traitements psychologiques, il faudrait \u00e9galement se pencher s\u00e9rieusement sur la fa\u00e7on dont ils sont enseign\u00e9s aux cliniciens, un domaine de recherche encore trop peu explor\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8211; de Roten, Y., Zimmermann, G., Ortega, D., &amp; Despland, J.-N.
