Suite \u00e0 cela, il a obtenu un Master en Sciences du mouvement et du sport \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne en 2019. Ensuite, il a rejoint l\u2019\u00e9quipe du Prof. Davide Malatesta en janvier 2020 en tant que charg\u00e9 de recherche dans le cadre d\u2019une collaboration \u00e9troite avec l\u2019entreprise Volodalen via un financement Innosuisse. Ces recherches lui ont permis de soutenir une seconde th\u00e8se de doctorat, cette fois-ci en Sciences du mouvement et du sport, le 3 f\u00e9vrier 2023. Ses recherches portent sur la biom\u00e9canique de la course \u00e0 pied et plus particuli\u00e8rement sur le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019algorithmes permettant d\u2019obtenir une mesure pr\u00e9cise de la biom\u00e9canique de course sur le terrain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque personne adopte un pattern de course unique et spontan\u00e9 qui est un syst\u00e8me global et dynamique. Ainsi, il est d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat majeur d\u2019utiliser des m\u00e9thodes multi-composantes pour comprendre les diff\u00e9rences individuelles dans la biom\u00e9canique de course \u00e0 pied. De ce fait, cette th\u00e8se a investigu\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9valuation objective du pattern de course spontan\u00e9 et sa relation en termes de classification des coureurs au laboratoire et en perspective sur le terrain. Premi\u00e8rement, cette th\u00e8se a \u00e9tendu les connaissances sur le duty factor (DF ; la proportion du temps pass\u00e9 au contact avec le sol pendant une foul\u00e9e) et la fr\u00e9quence de foul\u00e9e (SF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette th\u00e8se a montr\u00e9 qu\u2019au niveau individuel, le DF doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 au type de pose de pied quand on souhaite \u00e9valuer le pattern de course global du coureur. De plus, cette th\u00e8se a renforc\u00e9 les d\u00e9clarations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes selon lesquelles les coureurs \u00e0 faible DF reposent davantage sur l\u2019optimisation du mod\u00e8le masse-ressort que les coureurs \u00e0 haut DF. Deuxi\u00e8mement, cette th\u00e8se a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des algorithmes permettant de mesurer pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment le temps de contact (??), le temps de vol (??), le DF, la SF et le pic de force de r\u00e9action au sol vertical (??,max) en l\u2019absence de la m\u00e9thode de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence (bas\u00e9e sur la mesure des forces de r\u00e9action au sol) mais en utilisant une centrale inertielle (IMU) attach\u00e9e au sacrum et de l\u2019intelligence artificielle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion, avoir des estimations pr\u00e9cises de ??,max, ??, ??, DF et SF obtenues \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une IMU peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s pratiques pour les entra\u00eeneurs et les professionnels de la sant\u00e9. Une IMU a en effet l\u2019avantage d\u2019\u00eatre tr\u00e8s peu co\u00fbteuse et portative.
