Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 assistante dipl\u00f4m\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019IEP de septembre 2015 \u00e0 mars 2021. Durant son doctorat, elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un s\u00e9jour de mobilit\u00e9 de dix mois \u00e0 la City University of New York, financ\u00e9 par le FNS (doc.mobility). Ses travaux de recherche se situent \u00e0 l\u2019intersection entre les relations internationales et l\u2019administration publique avec une sp\u00e9cialisation dans l\u2019\u00e9tude des bureaucraties internationales et de la fonction publique internationale. Elle a soutenu sa th\u00e8se, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sous la direction du Prof. Martino Maggetti, le 26 mars 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette th\u00e8se constitue la premi\u00e8re analyse empirique d\u2019un des principes fondateurs de la fonction publique internationale : la diversit\u00e9 g\u00e9ographique du personnel. L\u2019objectif de cette recherche est de comprendre quels sont les effets de cette diversit\u00e9 sur le fonctionnement des administrations internationales. Le cadre th\u00e9orique avance que les effets de la diversit\u00e9 peuvent \u00eatre compris, en partie, en analysant les perceptions des acteurs quant \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9. Cette \u00e9tude se focalise donc sur la perception des effets de la diversit\u00e9 sur deux variables importantes pour les bureaucraties internationales&nbsp;: leur l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 et leur efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette th\u00e8se s\u2019int\u00e9resse au cas du Secr\u00e9tariat de l\u2019Organisation des Nations Unies (ONU) et adopte une strat\u00e9gie d\u2019enqu\u00eate qualitative r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur la base de l\u2019analyse de nombreux documents organisationnels et d\u2019entretiens semi-directifs avec des diplomates, des expert\u00b7e\u00b7s en gestion des ressources humaines et des fonctionnaires internationaux. La diversit\u00e9 g\u00e9ographique du personnel est per\u00e7ue comme jouant un r\u00f4le positif pour l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de l\u2019organisation. Cependant, l\u2019analyse sociologique r\u00e9v\u00e8le que cette diversit\u00e9 g\u00e9ographique cache, en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, une homog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 en termes de valeurs, d\u2019exp\u00e9riences et d\u2019\u00e9ducation qui permet de r\u00e9aliser les effets positifs de cette diversit\u00e9 sur le fonctionnement interne, mais surtout de diminuer les potentiels effets n\u00e9gatifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalement, la conclusion d\u00e9montre que cette diversit\u00e9 joue un r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s important pour l\u2019organisation qui est de satisfaire le besoin de l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 vis-\u00e0-vis des \u00c9tats membres.
