Assistant dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne depuis septembre 2015, sa recherche porte principalement sur les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9 du travail \u00e9manant des diff\u00e9rents r\u00f4les familiaux, notamment la parentalit\u00e9 et le mariage. Son travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 dans le Journal of Marriage and Family, Demographic Research, et la Revue suisse de sociologie. Sous la direction du Prof. Daniel Oesch (ISS), il a soutenu sa th\u00e8se le 6 juillet 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette th\u00e8se \u00e9tudie l&rsquo;impact du mariage et des enfants sur les salaires. Comme principale source d&rsquo;analyse empirique, elle utilise les donn\u00e9es d&rsquo;une enqu\u00eate exp\u00e9rimentale (LIVES-JOBVUL) aupr\u00e8s des employeurs et des recruteurs suisses. La conception exp\u00e9rimentale permet d&rsquo;analyser l&rsquo;impact de la discrimination des employeurs sur les salaires, un m\u00e9canisme souvent th\u00e9oris\u00e9, mais empiriquement sous-\u00e9tudi\u00e9 derri\u00e8re les diff\u00e9rences de salaires entre les groupes. Pour compl\u00e9ter cette analyse, elle utilise des donn\u00e9es provenant d&rsquo;enqu\u00eates par panel repr\u00e9sentatives au niveau national, afin de contextualiser les r\u00e9sultats de l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des recruteurs et de fournir des r\u00e9sultats du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l&rsquo;offre (employ\u00e9s) du march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que pour les hommes, le mariage est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une prime salariale qui s&rsquo;explique en grande partie par la s\u00e9lection d&rsquo;hommes plus productifs dans le mariage, mais avec un certain effet d&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de la productivit\u00e9 et des pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences des employeurs. Pour les femmes, la maternit\u00e9 est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une p\u00e9nalit\u00e9 salariale qui est influenc\u00e9e par la discrimination de l&#8217;employeur, en particulier pour les jeunes m\u00e8res. Il est d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que cette discrimination provient de tous les types de recruteurs, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur propre sexe et de leur situation familiale.
