R\u00e9cemment, elle a soutenu une th\u00e8se sous la dir. du Prof. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Rossier et son domaine de recherche se concentre principalement sur l\u2019\u00e9tude du stress professionnel, la diversit\u00e9 culturelle et la sant\u00e9 au travail. La cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, la personnalit\u00e9 et la psychom\u00e9trie sont aussi des champs d\u2019\u00e9tude qui l\u2019int\u00e9ressent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un des mod\u00e8les sur le stress au travail les plus r\u00e9pandus est celui d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Karasek (1979), qui postule qu\u2019une mauvaise sant\u00e9 chez les employ\u00e9-e-s r\u00e9sulte d\u2019une combinaison de demandes psychologiques \u00e9lev\u00e9es, d\u2019une latitude d\u00e9cisionnelle faible et de l\u2019absence de soutien social au travail. N\u00e9anmoins, ce mod\u00e8le ne s\u2019applique pas de fa\u00e7on \u00e9quivalente chez tous les individus et dans toutes les cultures.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les \u00e9tudes pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es, nous avons mesur\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aide de questionnaires les caract\u00e9ristiques de travail, les traits de personnalit\u00e9, les traits culturels et les effets lies \u00e0 la sant\u00e9. L\u2019\u00e9chantillon provient de la Suisse (n = 622) et de l\u2019Afrique du Sud (n = 879) et comprend des employ\u00e9-e-s de domaines divers en lien avec le service (notamment des secteurs de la sant\u00e9, la finance, l\u2019\u00e9ducation et le commerce), \u00e2g\u00e9-e-s entre 18 et 65 ans. Les r\u00e9sultats confirment l\u2019universalit\u00e9 des effets directs des demandes au travail, de la latitude d\u00e9cisionnelle faible, du soutien social faible provenant du sup\u00e9rieur hi\u00e9rarchique, ainsi que du n\u00e9vrosisme \u00e9lev\u00e9 qui contribuent \u00e0 un niveau de sant\u00e9 faible au travail, et ce, dans les deux pays. De plus, un niveau faible de n\u00e9vrosisme a un effet de mod\u00e9ration entre les demandes au travail et l\u2019\u00e9puisement professionnel, alors que l\u2019ouverture \u00e9lev\u00e9e et le caract\u00e8re consciencieux \u00e9lev\u00e9 mod\u00e8rent la relation entre la latitude d\u00e9cisionnelle et l\u2019\u00e9puisement professionnel en Afrique du Sud.
