Texts can be searched by <em>keyword<\/em>, <em>title<\/em>, <em>subject<\/em>, <em>author<\/em>, and <em>year<\/em> (or by any combination of these terms).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A <strong>short bibliographic record<\/strong> provides information about the author. These have been compiled from various sources (e.g. encyclopaedias); although certain information originates from the texts themselves and is therefore impossible to verify.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If in the <strong>Title<\/strong> field you find the\u00a0letter (<em>f<\/em>) means the title was added at a later date; although we&#8217;re often unable to identify the source of this later title. If a text remains untitled you will see the letters <em>w.t<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Within the <strong>Content<\/strong> field you&#8217;ll find a brief summary. These are of variable length and provide information about author and text.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The field labelled <strong>Edition(s) <\/strong>details when and where the text was published.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Classified as <strong>Secondary literature <\/strong>are monographs, periodical articles, collections of essays and doctoral dissertations on the author and \/ or their text.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">An abbreviated list of archives, libraries and museums either consulted or visited for this project is available <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/egodocuments\/files\/2024\/09\/Abreviations-et-sigles-des-institutions_2024-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Authorship\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">UNIBAS and UNIL (see <span style=\"color: #993300\">Presentation<\/span>)<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Swiss egodocument database is a tool designed to help researchers identify documents of interest.
