In our group, we aim at characterizing evolutionary processes (genetic drift, natural selection, migration and mutation) while relying on genomics data from both modern and ancient genomic data. We work at the intersection between applied mathematics, evolution and ancient DNA. Our work is split between mostly empirical projects involving data generation and projects involving the development of new theory and computational methods to analyze genomic data.
