{"id":998,"date":"2018-02-16T14:07:06","date_gmt":"2018-02-16T13:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/ecpr-polsoc\/?p=998"},"modified":"2018-02-16T14:07:06","modified_gmt":"2018-02-16T13:07:06","slug":"call-for-associate-editors-political-research-exchange-prx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/ecpr-polsoc\/2018\/02\/call-for-associate-editors-political-research-exchange-prx\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Associate Editors, Political Research Exchange (PRX)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for Associate Editors, <em>Political Research Exchange (PRX)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The ECPR will launch its new open access journal, <em>Political Research Exchange (PRX)<\/em>\u00a0in January\u00a02019 and is seeking a team of Associate Editors to work alongside the founding Editors in Chief, Alexandra Segerberg (University of Stockholm) and Simona Guerra (University of Leicester).<\/p>\n<p><em>PRX<\/em> will be\u00a0published in partnership with Taylor &amp; Francis and will\u00a0aim to cover\u00a0the full spectrum of political science and international relations, harnessing latest technology to provide fast publication, flexibility in article length and format coupled with the reach and access to all OA brings. <em>PRX<\/em> will be fully integrated into the structure of the ECPR through its Standing Groups and will be a key new membership benefit, providing significantly reduced article processing charges (APCs) for authors.<\/p>\n<p>The Associate Editors, drawn from the ECPR&rsquo;s Standing Groups, will\u00a0provide a broad scope of subject expertise and will work with the Editors in Chief to shape the content and direction\u00a0of the journal. A full <a href=\"https:\/\/ecpr.eu\/ContentPage.aspx?ID=561\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">job specification and application <\/a>requirements can be found on the ECPR&rsquo;s website, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ecpr.eu\/ContentPage.aspx?ID=559\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aims and scope of the journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit an application to ECPR Communications Manager, Rebecca Gethen (<a href=\"mailto:rgethen@ecpr.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rgethen@ecpr.eu<\/a>) by the closing date of 5 March. Any queries about the role can also be directed to Rebecca in the first instance.
