Our new publication with Arthur Carvalho<\/a>, Suman Bhunia<\/a> & Gerhard Schwabe<\/a>: \u201cDesigning a fair and inclusive digital asset-based name-image-likeness marketplace\u201d is now out in Decision Support Systems journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We explore how to embed fairness into the design of digital asset marketplaces, using the example of student-athletes\u2019 Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Our key contribution: a design theory for creating marketplaces that are both inclusive and meritocratic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 We developed and evaluated a blockchain-based prototype, with randomized allocation and royalty redistribution logic built-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The model applies to broader digital platforms where fairness and value distribution matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
