Or do they destroy it? That\u2019s the question at the heart of our new study.<br><br>Our research shows: it depends.<br><br>We examined 25 platforms in Italy and found that while they improve access and service reach, they also risk\u00a0excluding vulnerable users, eroding trust, and fragmenting service ecosystems.<br><br>We show that public value isn\u2019t just created by what a platform does. It also depends on how it\u2019s governed.
