The paper, co-authored by Alexandra Garazha, C\u00e9dric Merz, Gerhard Schwabe, and Liudmila Zavolokina, is titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zora.uzh.ch\/id\/eprint\/263307\/\">Resilience in Times of Crisis: Empowering Refugees with Self-Sovereign Identity.<\/a>\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This study explores how Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) can aid identity management in humanitarian contexts. By enabling refugees to securely manage their own digital identities, SSI provides a privacy-focused, decentralized solution that reduces reliance on intermediaries and supports autonomy and dignity\u2014especially in crisis situations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICIS is the leading international conference for information systems research, and we are proud to see our work recognized there.
