From October 30 until November 1, we brought together minds from tech, design, and humanitarian action to build digital solutions for crisis response — using the idea of Government as a Platform to act faster and smarter in times of crisis.
The three days were filled with creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving as participants develop digital tools to support humanitarian action.
3 challenges the teams tried to tackle are:
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency
Helping pro bono lawyers determine the legal status and rights of refugees faster and more accurately.
SEET – Support Education, Empower Together
Matching mentors and mentees more efficiently to scale SEET’s education program.
AOZ – Asylum Organization Zurich
Coordinating purchasing and storage of emergency supplies so staff can respond quickly during migration crises.
Thank you to all our challenge partners, mentors, the GaaP team, and participants for contributing your creativity and expertise.
Really curious to see where it’ll bring us!
