Renjun Presents @ ICIS 2025 in Nashville: Advancing IS for Social Good

Our PhD student Renjun Tang recently presented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in Nashville. Renjun presented her latest work: Listening to Refugee Voices by Foregrounding Their Ethical Dilemmas in Digital Platform in the “IS for Social Good” track, contributing to critical discussions on how research can drive societal change.

The conference provided a valuable platform for exchange, where Renjun’s presentation sparked lively discussions, leading to insightful recommendations and new ideas during the Q&A session.

“It was an inspiring opportunity to receive feedback from peers who share the same goal,” Renjun noted. “The experience reinforced the importance of creating public value by solving practical problems through rigorous research.”

Our lab congratulates Renjun on a successful presentation and the exciting collaborations emerging from this event.
