She is specialised in criminal and prison matters. She is currently a professor at the Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles where she teaches criminal procedure and a visiting professor at the Universit\u00e9 Saint-Louis Bruxelles where she teaches criminal law. She is also conducting post-doctoral research on gender and prison.
