In fact, while there is no way the virus can be stopped altogether, it is crucial to slow down its diffusion in order no to overload hospitals and intensive care units.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists of the Washington post have created\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/graphics\/2020\/world\/corona-simulator\/\">an agent based simulation <\/a>\u00a0in order to explain the importance of social containment measures\u00a0in which agents, represented as moving dots, move into space getting infected, transmitting the disease and recovering.
