Christine Legner is a Professor of Information Systems<\/strong>\u00a0at the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC), University of Lausanne<\/strong>. Her research fields are data management, enterprise architecture and business software.<\/p>\n

She is also the co-founder and academic director of the\u00a0Competence Centers Corporate Data Quality (CC CDQ)<\/strong>,\u00a0an industry-funded research consortium and expert community with 20 corporate partners (BASF, Bayer, Beiersdorf, Bosch, Nestl\u00e9, Schaeffler, SAP, Siemens and Tetrapak, among others). In the CC CDQ, she and her research team collaborate with industry experts to develop concepts, tools and methods that advance data management.<\/p>\n

Together\u00a0with Dr. Olivier Verscheure, she is co-director of\u00a0the Executive Certificate in Data Science and Management (CAS)<\/a><\/strong>, a joint program offered by University of Lausanne and EPFL.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

She has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals and conference proceedings. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Management Information Systems, the Journal of the AIS, the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, the Information Systems Journal, Business & Information Systems Engineering and Electronic Markets, among others. She is also editor of a book on Strategic Enterprise Architecture Management<\/a> and has co-authored eBooks on data strategy and data catalogs.<\/p>\n

Christine Legner received a post-doctoral qualification (Habilitation) and doctorate from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), an M.S. in Economics from Universit\u00e9 Paris\u2013Dauphine (France), and a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT, Germany).\u00a0Prior to joining HEC Lausanne, Christine Legner has served as Chair of Enterprise Systems and Electronic Business at European Business School (Wiesbaden, Germany). She was visiting researcher at INSEAD (France), Stanford University (US) and HEC Montr\u00e9al (Canada).<\/p>\n
