I am a computational ecologist; I use data analysis and modelling to address questions about biological invasions, species distributions, spread dynamics, and microclimate ecology. I am currently investigating how temperature varies over time in wood ant nests, and whether ants actively regulate their nest temperature. I also manage the group\u2019s databases, extract and clean data, and support group members with data analysis.
I joined the group in 2020 for my Master\u2019s thesis and then my PhD on how globalisation drives the spread of non-native insects, which I completed in 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
