I looked in depth the consequence of environmental perturbations and microclimate on the <strong>floral traits<\/strong> and the <strong>thermal biology<\/strong> of pollinators.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"565\" height=\"753\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/bertelsmeiergroup\/files\/2024\/04\/image-mathieu.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1364\" style=\"width:263px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/bertelsmeiergroup\/files\/2024\/04\/image-mathieu.jpg 565w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/bertelsmeiergroup\/files\/2024\/04\/image-mathieu-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m currently interested in the impact of <strong>microclimate<\/strong> on ant <strong>behaviour<\/strong>, and more specifically on the invasive species <em>Tapinoma magnum<\/em>. I want to better understand the effect of <strong>microclimate<\/strong> and <strong>environmental temperatures<\/strong> on <strong>ant activity<\/strong>. The thermal landscape is not homogeneous and the consequences on the workers are often underestimated.
