On distingue les rendements factoriels et les rendements d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle. Les rendements d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle d\u00e9signent la fa\u00e7on dont varie la quantit\u00e9 produite si l&rsquo;on augmente dans la m\u00eame proportion tous les <a title=\"Facteurs de production\" href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/bases\/2013\/05\/facteurs-de-production\/\">facteurs de production<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Les rendements d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle peuvent \u00eatre croissants, constants ou d\u00e9croissants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Exemple<\/em>: si on multiplie les machines et les travailleurs par deux, et que la production est aussi doubl\u00e9e, les rendements d&rsquo;\u00e9chelles sont constants. Si la quantit\u00e9 produite a plus que doubl\u00e9 les rendements d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle sont croissants et si elle a moins que doubl\u00e9, ils sont d\u00e9croissants.
