Anglicismes et r\u00e9f\u00e9rences actuelles se m\u00ealent \u00e0 une \u00e9criture po\u00e9tique et rythm\u00e9e\u00a0: fond et forme s\u2019entrechoquent pour actualiser le mythe des femmes poissons, d\u00e9sir\u00e9es mais dangereuses. Cette h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 est renforc\u00e9e par une narration mouvante, o\u00f9 \u00e9crivain et narrateur se confondent, faisant de ce roman un vrai <em>page turner<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cave, amput\u00e9e et priv\u00e9e de sa fille, incarne une h\u00e9ro\u00efne tragique. Son corps mutil\u00e9, au centre du r\u00e9cit, devient \u00e0 la fois lieu de pouvoir, d\u2019\u00e9change et d\u2019exclusion. Sous pr\u00e9texte de vengeance, le r\u00e9cit tourne autour de son handicap. \u00cave ne d\u00e9sire pas, elle veut seulement \u00eatre d\u00e9sir\u00e9e. \u00cave ne vit pas, elle survit jusqu\u2019\u00e0 s\u2019effacer. L\u2019auteur ne cr\u00e9e pas une femme libre et complexe&nbsp;; il reconstruit un arch\u00e9type d\u00e9fini par la souffrance. D\u00e9sexualis\u00e9e, coup\u00e9e du monde, \u00cave prouve le manque d\u2019imaginaire positif autour des femmes handicap\u00e9es&nbsp;: \u00ab&nbsp;Parce que dans r\u00eave, il n\u2019y a pas \u00cave&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miroir d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 obs\u00e9d\u00e9e par la domination et la consommation, sa chair devient marchandise&nbsp;: s\u00e9duisante par ce qu\u2019elle offre mais r\u00e9pugnante par ce qu\u2019elle est. Finalement, femme bris\u00e9e se charge de briser le monde \u00e0 son tour. Cette fin n\u2019a rien de la beaut\u00e9 tragique qu\u2019Incardona pr\u00e9tend \u00e9crire.
