D\u2019abord interloqu\u00e9 par le regard que porte le narrateur sur le corps de S\u00e9l\u00e8ne&nbsp;(on conna\u00eet l\u2019odeur de ses cheveux, la longueur de ses jambes, le <em>ductus<\/em> de ses doigts\u2026), le lecteur est guid\u00e9 par les focalisations narratives, presque cin\u00e9matographiques, qui t\u00e2chent de lui expliquer les raisons de son trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019image de leur go\u00fbt pour le mara\u00eechage, les sentiments r\u00e9ciproques entre Olga et S\u00e9l\u00e8ne croissent au fil des pages. Sans laisser le temps \u00e0 la vie de r\u00e9pondre au myst\u00e8re pos\u00e9 par cet amour \u2013 v\u00e9ritable int\u00e9r\u00eat du roman \u2013 l\u2019auteur enterre ses d\u00e9licates descriptions d\u2019\u00e9motions sous une s\u00e9rie de rebondissements. Au rythme de cette inspection, des histoires dramatiques secondaires s\u2019agencent en mosa\u00efques autour du r\u00e9cit principal. On per\u00e7oit alors par fragments la vie d\u2019Amandin, SDF et artiste qui ne saura jamais que ses \u0153uvres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9es, ou celle du <em>marcheur<\/em> <em>professionnel<\/em> qui parcourt des kilom\u00e8tres et des kilom\u00e8tres sans jamais savoir o\u00f9 aller.
