Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9c\u00e8s brutal de leur fille, elle sombre dans la folie et se retrouve \u00ab\u00a0attach\u00e9e \u00e0 une longe\u00a0\u00bb. \u00c0 travers une langue simple, m\u00eal\u00e9e \u00e0 un vocabulaire valaisan et empreinte de la nature suisse, l\u2019esprit de la narratrice est tiraill\u00e9 entre la pr\u00e9sence obs\u00e9dante des fant\u00f4mes du pass\u00e9 et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de survivre au quotidien, port\u00e9e par l\u2019amour des siens. Elle questionne la foi, la soumission et l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance des femmes, et tente de redonner du sens \u00e0 sa vie boulevers\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce tumulte, la litt\u00e9rature appara\u00eet comme un refuge fragile. <em>Lettres \u00e0 un jeune po\u00e8te <\/em>de Rainer Maria Rilke, <em>La Pluie d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em> de Marguerite Duras, <em>Le Livre de l\u2019intranquillit\u00e9<\/em> de Fernando Pessoa et <em>Aucun de nous ne reviendra<\/em> de Charlotte Delbo r\u00e9sonnent avec la d\u00e9tresse de Rose et l\u2019accompagnent. Mais cet exutoire est loin d\u2019\u00eatre apaisant. Lire ne console pas\u202f: cela remet en question, d\u00e9range, et confronte.
