Re-Configuring the Apophatic Tradition in Late Medieval England: a volume of essays edited by Denis Renevey, Christiania Whitehead and Olena Danylovych
Over the next two years, we plan to publish a volume of selected essays developed from some of the papers given at the conference. Brepols publishers has expressed an interest in publishing this volume, possibly within their MCS (Medieval Church Studies) series, and we will send them a formal proposal once we have a good idea of the shape and content of the volume. Given the range of papers delivered at the conference, the perimeters of the volume will include responses to late medieval English apophaticism in early modern / modern England and Europe.
If you would like an essay developed from your conference paper to be considered for inclusion in this volume, please follow these instructions:
- the essay should be between 6,000-8,000 words, including footnotes and bibliography.
- it should be formatted and referenced, using shortened footnotes and an end-of-chapter bibliography, in accordance with the Brepols short-reference stylesheet.
- It should be sent as a Word doc (not a pdf) to all three editors, by 15 January 2026 (denis.renevey@unil.ch; christiania.whitehead@unil.ch; olena.danylovych@unil.ch).
