The master in geography – spatial analysis specialization is composed of two parts: core courses that are common to all students in the master and courses that are proper to the specialization.<\/p>\n

Fisrt part : Core courses<\/h3>\n

A selection of courses representing 20 credits ECTS compose the core courses that are common to all students in the Masters in Geography curriculum. These courses take mainly take place during the two first semesters. They are:<\/p>\n

  • Diagnostic territorial et perspective (taught in French)<\/li>\n
  • Am\u00e9nagement du territoire (taught in French)<\/li>\n
  • Pr\u00e9paration du m\u00e9moire de Master (taught in French)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Second part : Specialization<\/h3>\n

    The specialization part is composed of three modules:<\/p>\n

    Database \u2013 information processing and visualization \u2013 20 ECTS<\/h4>\n

    This module aims at acquiring the basics of programming, constituting and manipulating databases, and strengthen the skills in geovisualization and Geographic Information Systems:<\/p>\n

    • G\u00e9ovisualisation dynamique et traitement de donn\u00e9es (taught in French)<\/li>\n
    • Web-scales Analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Networks and spatial modeling \u2013 26 ECTS<\/h4>\n

      This module aims at improving the students knowledge in spatial statistics, geostatistics and GIS, and to introduce them to the study of social and economic networks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        \u00a0Elective courses and internship \u2013 14 ECTS<\/h4>\n

        Courses of this modules are freely chosen by students in order to complete their training with topical courses or by complementary methodological trainings.
