Some of the most critical science stories of our time are found in data, from a changing climate to evolving pandemics. How can large datasets be transformed into films, new stories, and other public experiences that support understanding and action?<\/p>\n

Join us for an evening with leading data storytellers Abhinanda Bhattacharyya<\/strong> from the Los Angeles Times, Daisy Chung <\/strong>from Reuters, Ryan Wyatt<\/strong> from the California Academy of Sciences, moderated by curator Jennifer Frazier<\/strong> of the Science Communication Lab. We\u2019ll see examples of how scientific data can be transformed into meaningful stories, and explore the intersection of storytelling, technology, and ethics.<\/p>\n
