S\u2019il a longtemps servi \u00e0 fabriquer des bijoux, des outils ou des pi\u00e8ces de monnaie, cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment se trouve aujourd\u2019hui partout, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses hautes conductivit\u00e9s \u00e9lectrique et thermique, ainsi que sa r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion.
