Dani\u00e8le Tosato-Rigo and Mathieu Cl\u00e9ment) and the research team of the project on the Enlightenment Agrarian Republics. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University in 2008 and began teaching at Yale in 2014, after six years as a research fellow at the University of Cambridge. His first book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.proofpoint.com\/v2\/url?u=http-3A__press.princeton.edu_titles_9466.html&amp;d=CwMFaQ&amp;c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&amp;r=A15Qq8YDaPteRhtJcG2HAO49tCkF7ETpXcSwhSzTMPY&amp;m=GZ_ZE80Xn9EuTfZm-wWHwrkjW5f6cwBLRqrC3cMdFd0&amp;s=i5-fu5NWZD-GV62MQcPYy1aqAsILS7puU1H1W9U-sJk&amp;e=\"><em>The Closed Commercial State: Perpetual Peace and Commercial Society from Rousseau to Fichte<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(2011), showed how, in the context of the French Revolution, the German philosopher J.G.
