Si ces coupes sont accept\u00e9es, leur impact sera majeur : suppression de postes, r\u00e9duction des activit\u00e9s d&rsquo;enseignement et de recherche, hausse probable des taxes d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est <strong>urgent<\/strong>&nbsp;que nous agissions toutes et tous. En cas d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat, \u00e9crivez-nous !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nouveau bar\u00e8me pour les doctorant\u00b7es sur fonds externes<\/strong><br \/>La Direction a r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration salariale pour les doctorant\u00b7es sur fonds externes sous contrat UNIL. Nous nous r\u00e9jouissons de ce changement, qui r\u00e9pond en partie aux demandes que nous avions formul\u00e9es dans la <a href=\"https:\/\/vaud.ssp-vpod.ch\/secteurs\/hautes-ecoles-et-universite-2\/mettons-fin-a-la-precarite-et-aux-inegalites-entre-doctorant-e-s-a-lunil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">p\u00e9tition<\/a>\u00a0lanc\u00e9e en 2023. Notre courrier du 22 juillet a probablement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision du CHUV et d&rsquo;Unisant\u00e9 de s&rsquo;aligner sur la d\u00e9cision de l&rsquo;UNIL \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9. L&rsquo;application de la Directive 1.31 dans ces deux institutions continue toutefois de poser probl\u00e8me, d&rsquo;o\u00f9 des interventions r\u00e9centes au Grand Conseil (voir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vd.ch\/gc\/depute-e-s\/detail-objet\/objet\/25_QUE_28\/membre\/280212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ici<\/a>\u00a0et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vd.ch\/gc\/depute-e-s\/detail-objet\/objet\/25_INT_117\/membre\/280212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ici<\/a>). ACIDUL continuera d&rsquo;oeuvrer pour une application \u00e9galitaire et transparente de cette directive pour l&rsquo;ensemble des doctorant-es du canton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fonds de solidarit\u00e9 des doctorant\u00b7es (FSD)<\/strong><br \/>Vous \u00eates doctorant\u00b7e et rencontrez une mauvaise passe financi\u00e8re ? Below, you will find the latest news from the association that looks out for your rights and interests at UNIL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Actions against budget cuts<\/strong><br \/>The <em>Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral<\/em>\u00a0has announced cuts amounting to <strong>460 million francs <\/strong>per year from 2026 onwards in universities and research funding organisations such as the SNSF, while the <em>Conseil d&rsquo;Etat <\/em>of Vaud announced this summer a <strong>24-million-franc <\/strong>reduction to UNIL\u2019s 2026 budget. If these cuts are approved, their impact will be major: job losses, reduced teaching and research activities, and a likely increase in tuition fees for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is <strong>urgent that we all take action<\/strong>. An agenda will be sent to you soon. The GA, which will be held in French and in English, is also an opportunity to renew ACIDUL&rsquo;s committee and elect mid-level staff representatives in the <em>commissions consultatives de la Direction<\/em>. In case of interest, please contact us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New salary scale for PhD students on external funds<\/strong><br \/>A few months ago, the rectorate announced a salary improvement for PhD students on external funds under UNIL contracts. We welcome this change, which partly responds to the demands we made in the <a href=\"https:\/\/vaud.ssp-vpod.ch\/secteurs\/hautes-ecoles-et-universite-2\/mettons-fin-a-la-precarite-et-aux-inegalites-entre-doctorant-e-s-a-lunil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">petition<\/a>\u00a0we launched in 2023. Our letter of 22nd July probably contributed to the decision of CHUV and Unisant\u00e9 to align themselves with UNIL\u2019s decision at the end of the summer. However, the application of the<em>\u00a0Directive 1.31<\/em>\u00a0in both institutions continues to cause problems, leading to recent interventions in the <em>Grand Conseil <\/em>(see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vd.ch\/gc\/depute-e-s\/detail-objet\/objet\/25_QUE_28\/membre\/280212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vd.ch\/gc\/depute-e-s\/detail-objet\/objet\/25_INT_117\/membre\/280212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>). ACIDUL will continue to work for fair and transparent application of this directive for all PhD students in the canton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PhD Solidarity Fund (FSD)<\/strong><br \/>Are you a PhD\u00a0student going through financial hardship?
