In a heartening recognition of commitment to education, Prof. Yash Raj Shrestha receives the Best Teacher Award 2023! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best thing for a teacher is being recognised by students. This award holds a truly special place in my heart.\u00a0Teaching is something that I have always loved and it is an incredible feeling to be recognised and appreciated by the very students for whom I dedicate my time and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As I reflect on my own educational background, I am constantly reminded of the profound impact an engaging learning environment can have on the lives of students. Perhaps this act of nurturing curiosity and fostering a learning space will always need human teachers, despite many rapid AI developments in educational technology sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m grateful to the many outstanding educators that I’ve been fortunate to have as teachers and mentors\u00a0Vivianna Fang He<\/a>, Phanish Puranam<\/a>, Shiko Ben-Menahem<\/a>, Georg von Krogh<\/a>, Stefan Feuerriegel<\/a>, Stefan Haefliger,<\/a> Sebastian Sp\u00e4th<\/a>, Patrick Haack,<\/a> Zeynep Erden<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\ude4f \u2013 my teaching approach is just an amalgamation of everything I’ve learnt and still learning from them. \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
