Welcome to the website of the 2018 Biennial Conference of the Swiss Association of North American Studies! This year’s topic is “The Genres of Genre: A Conference on Form, Format, and Cultural Formations.” You can find our full Call for Papers here.

Please note that the conference will be preceded by a film screening of Rhymes for Young Ghouls (2013), a movie by Mi’kmaq film director and writer Jeff Barnaby. The screening will be followed by a round table on Indigenous cultures and youth with Prof. Sarah Henzi. The event takes place on November 1, 2018 at the Zinéma in Lausanne.
