Winter School for young researchers taking place on January 8 – 13, 2017

Goal

Give young researchers the opportunity to present their findings in a friendly environment, to meet and speak to researchers in other disciplines working on similar topics and to receive feedback from a few well-known experts in their field about the relevance of their work both in academia and practice.

Targeted audience

Young researchers (PhD students and researchers, academics, practitioners within 5 years after PhD) across disciplines, such as actuarial science, demography, insurance, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, biology, economics.

Structure

The structure of the Winter School will consist in opening experts presentations (45 min), contributed talks (20 to 30 min) by participating young researchers, followed by pannel discussions.

Registration fee

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the registration & hotel fee is set at only CHF 575 per participant. The fee includes:
