Life Science Career Day 2016

Dear Master & PhD Students, Dear Postdocs, Dear Researchers,

The Life Science Career Day (LSCD)  is the annual event for young researchers and students wishing to get ready for their professional future! The program 2016 will provide you with inspiration & information on career opportunities in the field of life sciences, as well as contacts & networking opportunities.

Save the date: The event will take place at the University of Lausanne on Saturday, May 21st 2016 (Amphipôle Building, UNIL-Sorge), 9h00-16h30. 

LSCD 2016 Key Words: "R&D and the private sector", "The job market for a scientist", "Get ready for a job interview", "Advice on your CV", "Building your professional online profile for a non-academic career", "Working for a large company or a small/medium sized business", "Presenting your best self", "Create your own business", "Dissecting a business plan", "Postdocs! Successfully communicate your skills to prospective employers", "Talents and Positions", "Meet alumni - our special guests- to learn more about their career paths".

Activities: symposia, round tables, workshops, CV check, a talk "Get ready for the job interview" and a networking forum.

Guests: professionals from more than 30 companies & institutions (Covance, Novartis, Debiopharm, Roche, KWS, Endologix, Nestlé, Merck, McKinsey & Co, Philip Morris, Karmagenes, Adecco Life Sciences, Sophia Genetics SA, Skillspotting, and many others) as well as several career coaches.
