Submission Rules

EARNet Symposium

To be eligible for presentation, manuscripts written in English must be sent to Professor Reiner Quick (quick@bwl.tu-darmstadt.de) by April 26th 2015.

The paper and the abstract should be submitted in Word format, uniformly on A4 pages, typed, single spaced, 12-point. On the cover page please indicate the author(s), their affiliation, correspondence address, and the title of your paper. Please keep the rest of your submission anonymous.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by July 2015.

The accepted papers as well as the abstracts will be included in the congress material. A discussant will be assigned to each paper. Authors accepted for presentation are supposed to be willing to serve as discussants. Authors of accepted papers may also be asked to chair a session.

PhD workshop

Applicants are required to send a doctoral research proposal and curriculum vitae to Professor Marleen Willekens (marleen.willekens@econ.kuleuven.be) by April 26th 2015.

Invited doctoral students:

  • are doing research in the areas of auditing, control and/or corporate governance
  • have reached the dissertation stage or at least have a clear idea of the research question(s) they want to address and the methodology they want to adopt
  • may have produced one or more papers that are part of their dissertation
